Mother Of Pink!!!

So here is my first requested post. I really hope it meets expectation and helps out quite abit:

Pink outfits can be tricky to style to an extent. This can be down to the shade of the colour to the colour combinations. For example a bright pink can look eye catching and make an outfit come alive and playful however a more pastel shade of pink gives a mature, relaxed vibe. So without futher ado here are 3 examples of how i would style the colour pink.

1. A Night Out

For a night out you want to keep it bright and bold. Isn't that the point of dressing up? To be eye catching? This is a chance to use vibrant shades of pink. Dress up that plain LBD with a pair of bright pink heels and a matching purse and you are ready to hit the club, but to keep it interesting you can always add a contrasting colour such as blue or yellow.

2. Cute 'n' Casual

This outfit is alot more laid back than the one above and below. Perfect for a day out shopping to a relaxed cinema date. The combinations of white/cream and pink gives not only a girly vibe but a calm outlook to the outfit.

3. Pink Lady

This outfit is alot more '50's rock chic' reminding me of the pink ladies from 'Grease'. With this style you can make vibrant pinks look more casual incorporating a leather jacket to injecting a bit of edge into an outfit. Blacks, whites and pinks can be mixed up in so many different ways to give an effortless edgy impression.

Latest Purchases

I haven't gone shopping in what feels like forever, however, as a reward for passing my A-Levels me and my chummy decided to go on a little trip to the mall.

Stripey Long Sleeve Top - Primark - £4
Triangle Cut Out Necklace - Primark - £2.50
Black Ankle Lenght Leggings - New Look - £7.99

My focus of this shopping trip was to get some essential items in for autumn. The weather is starting to get colder so it is definately time for the autumn wardrobe to make a gradual appearence.

I absolutely love stripes but have always been cautious with buying them however i found this top in primark and loved it instantly, it is such a simple piece of clothing yet can be styled in so many various ways. Its also soft against your skin which is perfect if you ask me. An added bonus i found was that it is similar to Amy Ponds shirt in Doctor Who so ,with the added bonus of a possible cosplay, how could i resist?

The black leggings arn't exactly the most interesting item to display however they are a definate must have in my wardrobe. After ripping a hole in a pair of mine i needed a replacement.

Finally onto the last item. The triangle cut out necklace. I saw this online, when i was browsing the Primark website, putting together outfits in my head, as we all do, and decided that i had to purchase it to wear over jumpers. Also i have no long necklaces so this was a definate must buy! I love the fact that its in gold as it matches the Autumn season completely.

All i need now is a burgandy jumper and some chelsea boots and i'm set.

Autumn 2014 hurry up!

Denim On Denim Back In Trend?

So denim on denim has come back in trend! A once believed fashion crime is now becoming a fashion trend! However it is a risky trend to follow.

Done correctly you can look amazing like Cara Delevigne or Rhianna. Done badly you will just look like a mishmash of denim scraps! So i thought i would show you guys how i would dress denim on denim.

A simple way of dressing denim on denim is a combo of skinny denim jeans, a denim shirt, heels and a statement necklace, i have also added some bangles to my wrist.

Majoity of these items are a few years old, from newlook, however here are some links to where you can get similar items:
